These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the uPhone website and eSIM services. By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

uPhone is an eSIM marketplace that allows you to purchase mobile data plans for travel. After purchase, you receive a QR code by email to install the eSIM on your compatible, unlocked device.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract. By using uPhone, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Orders and Payment

  • Orders are confirmed by email once payment is successfully processed.
  • Prices are displayed in your selected currency and include all applicable fees.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders suspected of fraud.

4. eSIM Delivery and Activation

  • QR codes are delivered to your email address immediately after purchase.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure your device is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked.
  • Plans activate when you first connect to the destination network. Validity begins at activation.
  • Plans are non-transferable between devices once installed.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Our refund policy is available at uphone.com/refund-policy. In summary:

  • Full refunds are available for unactivated eSIMs within 30 days of purchase.
  • Refunds may be issued for incompatible or locked devices and unresolved connection failures.
  • Activated and partially used plans are not eligible for full refunds.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Resell, share, or transfer eSIM plans
  • Use the service for illegal activities
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with our systems
  • Provide false information during registration or checkout

7. Intellectual Property

All content on uPhone — including text, logos, graphics, and code — is the property of uPhone or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

uPhone is not liable for: network outages outside our control; loss of data; indirect or consequential damages; or any damages exceeding the amount paid for the relevant order.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
